Dr. Azad Madni Named AAAS Fellow

Los Angeles, CA. - November 29, 2012 - Dr. Azad Madni was elected to the rank of Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Each year the AAAS Council elects members whose "efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications are scientifically or socially distinguished."

The AAAS - known colloquially as "Triple A-S" - is the world's largest general scientific society and the publisher of the journal Science, which has a readership of 1 million. The nonprofit organization has been in existence since 1848.

Azad Madni was selected for his pioneering contributions to systems engineering and related research and education, particularly through modeling, simulation and gaming technologies.
