Intelligent Systems Technology, Inc. Bags $3M in R&D Contracts

LOS ANGELES, CA. - March, 2007 - Intelligent Systems Technology, Inc. (ISTI) announced that it received three Phase II Small Business Innovation Research awards in the amount of 3M. These R&D contracts are for developing: a videogame-based maintenance training system for the U.S. Marine Corps; an intelligent troubleshooting agent based on cognitive principles for the U.S. Marine Corps; a simulation-based leadership training systems for the Office of the Secretary of Defense; and an intelligent script building tool for simulation-based exercises for Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency.

Chairman and CEO of ISTI, Dr. Azad Madni, credits these awards to the company's innovative capabilities in cognitive engineering, videogame design, simulation-based training, and multimedia authoring.
