ISTI Wins an R&D and Engineering Services Contract from the U.S. Navy

SANTA MONICA, CA. JUNE 8, 2005 Intelligent Systems Technology, Inc. (ISTI) (www.intelsystech.com), a leading provider of web-based training and enterprise productivity solutions announced today that it was awarded an R&D, engineering, and services support contract from the U.S. Navy.

This award is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract for support services for all phases of weapon systems acquisition and life-cycle support including R&D support, prototyping, acquisition logistics, modeling, test & evaluation trials, and engineering support for the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Strategic Systems Programs, and the United States Marine Corps.

"This award will provide a convenient vehicle for the Navy agencies to procure ISTI's R&D and engineering services," said Dr. Azad Madni, Chairman and CEO of ISTI.

These contracts are awarded under the Seaport Enhanced acquisition program for services procurements. The Government estimates a maximum of $5.3 billion of services will be procured per year under SeaPort-e. "We fully expect to do business wih the Navy using this agile contracting vehicle." said Dr. Madni.
